Beauty products i received at Christmas.

It’s been a week since i last picked up my laptop to write a post,i felt i needed a break after blogmas.Feels good to be back filling my spare time with blogging.

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and enjoyed time with their favourite people.I had a lovely, relaxed day with the kids and we really enjoyed doing what we wanted, without any pressure.I received some beautiful gifts from my boyfriend and i thought they were worth sharing,he clearly took notice of my wishlists.

I had mentioned i really wanted the sleek, solstice highlighter palette.I’d seen so many people talk about it,so naturally i also wanted to try it.It’s beautiful,i’ve already used the bottom right shade Equinox and it’s way more pigmented than i thought it was going to be.Blended out it’s fine,it’s definitely metallic and luminous – the highlight of my Christmas!

I also received two other Sleek products, one being the i-Divine eyeshadow palette in ultra mattes v2 and the other being a set of sleek make-up brushes. The palette is perfect for creating vibrant looks,i was pleased it had a green matte included as i don’t have one.I know i’ll use these as transition shades and adding depth. The brushes are lovely and soft,i needed more eyeshadow blending brushes and these are perfect additions to add to my collection.Yes i dropped it,three times!I’m glad he only got me a single pan because after swatching this make up obsession eyeshadow – in the shade ginger,i know what shades i’d like.I’d picked this one as one of my wishlist products and its darker than i thought, which means i need to go lighter for my transitions and use these type of shades for adding a pop of colour.I can’t wait to make a palette up!He knows how much i’ve been loving NYX lately,so he picked these 2 lip products for me.A butter gloss in the shade creme brulee and a full throttle lipstick in the shade sidekick. Both light pink shades (lighter than they show up in my photo),not something i would have picked up myself but wearing them out,i really love the shades, they suit me really well.Love the butter gloss especially it’s made its way into my handbag already.I also received the bold metals collection miracle diamond sponge, which of course isn’t completely marble the way they advertise it,but it’s not completely white either. Can’t wait to give this a good go.

Last but not least is the Liz Earle, cleanse and polish starter kit, most wanted and loved of all my gifts.I’ve used it a few times now since Christmas and i’m amazed at how well it removes a full face of make up.Two pumps, massaged into dry skin and my make up melts away.I love how i can actually open my eyes whilst washing my face without stinging or burning my eyeballs,i feel like this will be repurchased – it’s so good and my skin feels so soft afterwards.

So thankful for all the gifts i received this year and i hope you all opened some awesome things to.

I hope you all have a lovely new years eve and whatever you are doing, see the new year in safely.

Thanks for reading x

Such lovely presents! I’ve had my eye on the Sleek highlight palettes for quite a while, I just cant decide which one to get. I’m leaning towards Solstice, until I see the others again and am right back to being unable to decide! I’m really intrigued by the Makeup Obsession products. I love that you can create your own palette with them. Unfortunately, I’ve not managed to find a Boots that has them in stock and I really like to swatch makeup before buying. Xx

Love this post! I also got the cleanse and polish for Christmas but I’m yet to use it! Sounds good though ☺️
